Delete your Unrack account

Unrack is operated by FlareWare Solutions. This page explains how to delete your account and what happens when you do. You do not need to contact us; deletion is built into the app and takes effect immediately.
Before you delete
Deletion is permanent. Once your account is deleted there is no way to recover it. If there is anything you want to keep:
- Export your training history: Settings → Export. This produces CSV and JSON files containing your profile, every workout, your measurements and your clip metadata. The CSV can be re-imported into Unrack later or opened in a spreadsheet.
- Save your clips and photos: open any clip in the Lift Roll, or any progress photo, and save it to your device. Videos and photos are not included in the export file.
- Cancel your subscription first. Deleting your account does not cancel an Unrack Pro subscription. Subscriptions are managed by Apple or Google, and they will keep billing you until you cancel there:
- iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Unrack → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Unrack → Cancel
How to delete your account
- Open Unrack and sign in.
- Go to Settings (from the Me tab).
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Read the list of what will be removed, tick the confirmation box, and tap Delete.
- If your sign-in is more than a few minutes old, you'll be asked to confirm it's you: Apple and Google accounts re-open the provider's sign-in sheet; email accounts are asked for their password. This protects your account against deletion from a stolen or shared device.
Deletion runs on our servers as a single operation and is confirmed before the app reports success. If it fails partway for any reason, nothing is left half-deleted: the app tells you, your account still works, and you can try again.
What is deleted
Everything associated with your account is permanently removed from our systems:
- All video clips and their thumbnails
- All progress photos
- Every workout, set, exercise, template, program and tag
- Bodyweight history and body measurements
- Your profile, name, email address, birth year and preferences
- Push notification device tokens
- Queued notifications
- Your contact record with our email provider, so you receive no further emails from us
- Your sign-in credentials with Firebase Authentication
There is no grace period and no "soft delete". Once the operation completes, the data is gone.
What may remain, and for how long

If you can't access the app
If you no longer have the app installed, can't sign in, or can't complete the steps above, email support@getunrack.com from the address associated with your account with the subject line "Delete my account". We will verify that you own the account — which may involve sending a confirmation link to that email address — and complete the deletion for you within 30 days. We'll confirm by email when it's done.
If you signed in with Apple and used Hide My Email, write from the same Apple ID so the relay address matches, or tell us the approximate date you created the account and we'll work with you to verify it.
Deleting part of your data instead
You don't have to delete your whole account to remove something:
- A single clip: open it in the Lift Roll and tap Delete. The clip and its thumbnail are removed from storage immediately, and any set that referenced it is unlinked.
- A workout, set or template: delete it from within the app.
- A measurement or progress photo: open the check-in for that day and remove the entry or the photo.
- Your bodyweight history: delete individual readings from the bodyweight screen.
- Emails and notifications: turn off any category in Settings → Email and Settings → Notifications, or use the unsubscribe link in any email.
